What is GPA?
GPA (Grade Point Average) is a numerical representation of your academic performance. It averages your course grades by credit weight, typically on a 4.0 scale where A=4.0, B=3.0, and so on.

The standard 4.0 scale maps letter grades to points: A (4.0), A- (3.7), B+ (3.3), B (3.0), B- (2.7), C+ (2.3), C (2.0), C- (1.7), D+ (1.3), D (1.0), D- (0.7), F (0). Weighted scales add extra points for honors and AP classes.
